A Time to Say Goodbye and a Time to Say Hello

 

            

2021, hmm… Where do I even start? Well, we all know that ‘that year’ was not easy for all of us, with the pandemic and all, but, throughout all that I have experienced in 2021 I was still happy that I got to experience all of that. I was still happy it happened.

            Remembering everything that occurred in 2021, I can say that I really grew as a person within that time period. Growth that - I can say – came to me surprisingly or was somewhat expected. With all of the struggles I faced, probably contributed to that growth. From the 15 year old me with a screwed up mind-set to a 16 year-old striving to improve each single passing day, exploring inner talents such as drawing, and getting to experience things the old ‘me’ would have never done like, playing a variety of online games such as CSGO, it I also regained my interests in some of my old hobbies, basketball and book collecting. But with everything I said, the thing I’m most thankful that happened was that I became closer to God who helped me find myself in amidst of all the problems I had.

            Every passing day, It never failed to amaze me on how much I grew as a daughter, as a friend, as a person, and of course as a woman of God. I’m hoping that these upcoming years I will grow more, learn more, and improve more. As I move forward to a new chapter in my life, my message that I want to give myself is that as the New Year approaches, look for inspiration and motivation to be the best you can be.
