COVID-19 Vaccine: Significance to Children and Teens
The pandemic has had an influence on practically every aspect of life, forcing global economies to stop, altering how we work and interact with our loved ones, and straining healthcare systems to their breaking point. To stop the spread of the virus, governments around the world have been obliged to impose severe limitations on human activities.
COVID-19 vaccination is now providing a path out of this phase of the epidemic. Many scientists believe that without them, natural herd immunity would not have been enough to restore society to its original state, and that it would have ended in extreme fatality. Many health agencies, including the WHO, have repeated this sentiment. In the absence of vaccines, rigorous behavioral controls may have had to be maintained for the foreseeable future.
It is a must for children and teens to have the COVID-19 vaccine for them to also be protected, for them to have a lower risk of having the virus, and a lower risk of spreading the virus. This is a win-win situation to us people. In vaccinating children and teens alike we can help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and probably eradicate it also.
